About Us...

Established in 1987, owner Tony Pelle is no stranger to gourmet food. Tony's Italian heritage has been a strong influence in his culinary career, which spans over 25 years in the food industry.

Tony has over the years, been the first to introduce new products from Italy and the rest of the world previously unknown or unheard of in Canberra, and he continues to bring the finest quality products and culinary delights to your table.  From relatively humble beginnings, originally only half of its present size, Deli Planet has expanded to include its own freshly made pasta, fresh baked bread, and caffé bar serving excellent coffee, and beatuifully fresh made pizza and focaccia.
